Scar Lightening & Inkless Stretch Mark Revision

Scar Lightening and Inkless Stretch Mark Revision is an advanced cosmetic procedure that aims to diminish the appearance of scars and stretch marks without using traditional tattoo inks. Instead, it employs specialized micro-needling technology to stimulate the skin’s natural healing process.

The micro-needling process helps to improve the texture and tone of the skin, leading to a reduction in the visibility of scars and stretch marks over time. Since it involves no pigmented inks, there is no risk of discoloration or pigment migration, making it a safe option for individuals with various skin types and tones.

Scar Lightening and Inkless Stretch Mark Revision typically requires multiple treatment sessions spaced several weeks apart to achieve optimal results. While individual outcomes may vary, many clients experience significant improvement in the appearance of their scars and stretch marks, with smoother and more even-toned skin.

Overall, Scar Lightening and Inkless Stretch Mark Revision offers a non-invasive and effective solution for those looking to address their scars and stretch marks and enhance the appearance of their skin. However, it’s essential to consult with a qualified practitioner to determine if this procedure is suitable for your specific needs and goals.

A new production of collagen and elastin is triggered by your body’s natural healing process which helps new and healthier scar tissue to grow.  The new scar tissue will appear smoother and the color tone will gradually even out and normalize after each session. Stiffer scars and stretch marks will loosen up and become less restricted. Scars that are bumpy with a raised texture can also start smoothening and flattening down.

Scars and Stretch Marks eligible for ISR treatment must be fully healed and either flesh-colored or lighter than the surrounding skin. Scars that are dark red or purple, raised/keloid, or less than 9 months old are ineligible.

ISR is suitable for all skin types, ISR can address scars from acne, surgery, injury, breast lift or reconstruction, facelift, tummy tucks, on areas like the stomach, thighs, hips, arms and back.

Pain varies on the individual, the area we are treating, and other contributing factors such as menstrual cycle, sleep deprivation, stress levels, caffeine intake, etc, however most clients describe it as “not” painful at all.  We will use a topical numbing cream before and/or during your treatment to minimize any discomfort.

NO! You can return to normal activities with a few restrictions that will be explained post service treatment.

A session usually takes between 1 and 2 hours. It all depends on the area being treated.

The number of sessions required will depend on the size and depth of the scar or stretchmark and the client’s expectations. Most often, it will take between one to four sessions for scars or stretch marks to achieve desired results. However, some clients are happy with their results after just one to two sessions.  Collagen levels peak at about 14 days post treatment and continue for weeks following. We schedule sessions 6-12 weeks apart to ensure ample healing time for the deeper layers of the skin between treatments. Remember Stretch Marks may never fully go away for some, but ISR can significantly improve them.

It takes between 6-12 weeks for complete healing. Nevertheless, each individual heals differently, so it might take longer for some and not as long for others.
